We'd like to start a new thread on our blog devoted to prayer requests. Prayer requests from every Sunday worship will be posted here, unless otherwise instructed by the respective member. Also, members will be free to post their own requests should they need to throughout the week. Or if you're not a member but have any requests, you can email Eric at eric.bong.nam@gmail.com and he will gladly post them for you.
Sunday Requests>>>Please pray for our father who was recently found to have an aortic aneurysm. May the Lord comfort him in this time of need, and may He give us, his family, the strength and courage to be there for him.
>>>Please pray for my friend K and his father, who was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Doctors attempted to perform the whipple surgery but backed out due to various reasons. Chemo-therapy has begun so may the Lord be with him to give him courage to endure the physical pain and to lend him the strength of mind to go through this challenging journey. May the Lord also be with K and his family to ease their hearts in this difficult time.
>>>Please pray for our brother and sister, Rex and Judy, who fondly await the arrival of their first-born son. May the Lord provide the family comfort, warmth, and grace in this most challenging yet most beautiful of times.
>>>Please pray for me as I begin a long overdue break from school and work to visit my family back home in Korea. I will be gone for four months so may the Lord be with me throughout the journey and graciously provide me with safety, rest, and spiritual rejuvenation.
>>>Please pray for a dear person in my life who has been battling a devastating addiction to codeine. He is a hard-working, God-fearing, husband and father of two beautiful children in middle school. May the Lord be with him as he fights his way out this darkest of places.
>>>Please pray for my sister to find her faith in the Lord. May the Lord guide her out of the secular world and into the spiritual one.
>>>Please pray for our church as we have embarked on an ambitious endeavor to re-structure and re-launch the planting of our ministry. We have faced many challenges including, but not limited to, financial difficulties, inconsistency of member attendance, stagnation of membership growth, and inability to secure a permanent venue for worship. May the Lord be with our Pastor Ben as his passion and undying faith carries his congregation forward. But may the Lord also lend to his congregation the strength, initiative, leadership, wisdom, and courage it so greatly lacks in order to help carry his burden.
